Heather McCain spoke at the BC Council of Administrative Tribunals’ (BCCAT) Annual Conference, which brought together justice professionals – from lawyers and adjudicators to registrars and case managers – for two days of skill building and collaboration.
LET’S was invited after an organizer “heard rave reviews from colleagues at North Shore Restorative Justice Society who attended a session you presented to them on neurodiversity”.
Session Description
Everyone’s mind works differently. By creating adaptable, flexible, and supportive environments, neurodivergent individuals can trust that they can be their authentic selves, do their best work, and feel valued – benefiting the entire BCIT community.
This panel will equip educators and administrators with strengths-based strategies to foster neuroinclusive spaces.
