Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference (BC Committee)

Founder and Executive Director of LET’S, Heather McCain, was asked to join the British Columbia Committee of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference (GGCLC), a national initiative that brings together emerging leaders from across sectors to explore Canada’s most pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.

The conference is known for its emphasis on experiential learning and cross-sector collaboration – providing opportunities for participants to visit communities, engage with local leaders, and learn directly from lived expertise. As part of the BC Committee, Heather contributed LET’S’ perspective on accessibility, disability justice, and equitable leadership, helping shape a learning journey grounded in equity and collective care.
